Were Hung

Me and my friend were watching pirates of the Caribbean 2, we thought at the beginning of the movie will and Elizabeth are about to get hung and then they save themselves some how, but it never happened . Now we are so lost. Does this happen in any movie? Are we just seeing things? Or do we not remember straight? Thanx for your help!

Will was told to save himself and elizabeth he must go get captain jack black's compass- so he left to do that
elizabeth escaped because her dad freed her
you have to see the last movie because in it will becomes captain of the Crane, mantis, tiger, monkey

in the 3rd movie many pirates get hung- hundreds and elizabeths father supposedly gets his head chopped off- and he had to sign the approval himself

will can only be killed if someone finds his heart and stabs it-which he gave to elizabeth
wind- jack escaped by going to the black pealr when they rescued him in the first movie- him escaping in the coffin in the 2nd was a whole other prison- he went there to get the picture of a key
they won't get hung most likely since the man who wnated to hang them died in the last movie and 10 years later elizabeth and her son wait for will to appear on ground
also- they were only threatened to be hung- so that Will will do cutler Beckett bidding and he holds elizabeth in prison as a incentive to get will to do his bidding
