Best Friend
Posted in cross stitch on 01/19/2011 03:48 am by adminHow to get rid of my best friend?
Me and my 'best friend' had a mega argument the other day, and we haven't been the same since. Me and my other friend Izzy are going to a ski thing and now my 'best friend' Sophie thinks she can come too. She makes out that she is soo poor, and this thing costs £40 and she thinks she can come too. Me and Izzy don't want her to come and we don't know what to do. Help!!
I have no idea why its in cleaning and laundry!
Ugh, I so know what it's like to have a friend who just *invite* themselves.
Alright so you have 3 options.
(prefered v)
1. Tell her straight up (but as kindly as possible) that it's just you and Izzy going. She might take it hard. But she needs to understand that you have other friends. And she shouldn't be your *very top on the list* priority.
If you don't want to cause more trouble, then make up a next schedule, maybe you and Sophie can go somewhere next time to make it up to her.
2. Just go along, and pay for her trip. Maybe you two got off on the wrong foot, and it could possibly be a phase* after the argument. Hey, just maybe inviting her along could settle things, or at least make it easier.
It's a great way to bond with both of your friends too.
Or option 3.
If you don't want to tell her truthfully, or you don't want to pay for her.
Tell her that you have no money to spare. Or you can only invite one friend.
It'd be a lousy thing to do since it's not the full truth. But hey, whatever you do, it's you decision (:
Good luck!
