Mine and my husband's dearest friends are expecting their second daughter in the middle of next month (their first daughter is 3 1/2). My friend's mother just called and invited me to a baby shower, and I don't know what to get her! I have been working on a cross-stitched baby sampler, but I can't give that to them until after the baby is born because I need to know the date and weight. What is something that I could give to her at the shower that would be useful for a second time parent? I work at a coffee shop, and I thought about getting her a leak-proof travel mug and a box of red raspberry leaf tea (she's very anemic)...but that's for HER, not the baby. Any suggestions on small gifts for the baby that I could pair with the tea?
