Stitching Parlor
Posted in cross stitch on 01/02/2011 08:10 am by adminMy dog's claws need cutting, do they need to be done by a vet?
I know it's dangerous to cut your dog's claws...
I asked my vet about it years ago, and he said he would need to knock her out to do it, which I didn't want. My dog is very friendly and the vet has even stitched her before without knocking her out. I'm a bit confused as you can get claws cut at a doggy parlour...
She is getting on a bit and although she gets at least an hour and a half walking a day, its not on pavements so her claws are looking a bit long.
Can anyone tell me the best place to get it done?
Some other people said buy clippers... Um... NO! If you cut too short, you could hit a vein or something and your dog could bleed to death! I usually get mine cut when I go to the vet... Or you could go to a groomer... Also, My dog chased me on my 4wheeler and his claws got a little shorter from running... Good Luck:]
