Aida Cloth
Posted in cross stitch on 01/21/2011 02:25 am by adminWhat is the name of the material used for cross stitch?
I'm not talking about Aida cloth you actually make a scene at point cross on it. There is a type of fabric / material that you temporarily attach a simple piece of fabric (a shirt for example). You can use this fabric / material as a guide to cross stitch, then when you have finished sewing, you apply a damp cloth to matter and it partially dissolves and you can carefully remove the remaining son of it, and you're left with just the cross-stitching on the shirt, no guide. Anyone have an idea of what I speak or how to fight it's called?
drop cloth, canvas waste - ask at your local needlework.
