How on earth do you do that?!! I have no idea how to. I bought myself a cross stitching kit but I have no idea how to make up the picture. There are no clear instructions on the pack. I have no idea! What do I do? How do I begin cross stitching?! Someone please explain!

It is really pretty easy once you get the hang of it.
The picture is made up of little x's . Basically start by going one direction ///// then come back over those stitches from the other direction \\\\\ and you will end up with XXXXX.
The link above shows some really good pictures and gives good instructions on how to start.
