Sea Turtles

I have some questions about sea turtles. How long do they live and how big can they get? I've seen some in Hawaii and they look pretty big. I've heard they live really long too.
As far as life:
There has not been a turtle followed from emergence to natural death, so this is a guesstimate based on the information we do have. It is assumed that sea turtles can live 60 or more years depending on species. Onset of sexual maturity is also species dependant, but is typically around 20 years.
Sea turtles and their ancestors have been swimming in the oceans for about 75 to 100 million years. They have been around since the time of the dinosaurs. These animals are very long lived and some species survive up to 200 years. Unfortunately, almost all of the world's sea turtles are in danger of extinction. Overfishing (for their shells and meat), egg hunting, destruction of nesting beaches and accidental drowning in fish nets all have contributed to their decline.
As far as size:
Adult loggerheads average 200-250 lbs. Greens can way up to 500 lbs. Leatherbacks can get up to 1500 lbs (the biggest being recorded at 2000 lbs)
