Can I still wear a purity ring if I can not wait until my wedding night?

I am Catholic and sex is sacred to me, so I will only be with a man. I want to have a purity ring. However, would it still be acceptable if I was with one man, but I had sex with him before our wedding night? If it was my fiance? I just want to have sex with someone I that was absolutely going to marry, if the intention of sleeping with my husband, I can still wear a purity ring? And is it a sin?
