How many types of numbers are there? Complex, real, natural integers, rationals etc.?

I've learned about different types of numbers in 9th grade in trigonometry. I can't remember all of them. Please tell me all different types of numbers and definations. or a link where I can find all the info. Thank You.

There are actually infinitely many different types. For example: even numbers, odd numbers, numbers divisible by 3 (also called the multiples of 3), numbers divisible by 5 (also called the multiples of 5), etc. Then there are the prime numbers, the composite numbers, the perfect numbers, the amenable numbers, the amicable numbers, the primorial numbers, the factorial numbers, etc etc.

However, probably what you are looking for is the main, most commonly used types of numbers: natural numbers, whole numbers, integers, rational numbers, real numbers, complex numbers. There are also quaternions and p-adic numbers. Also, irrational numbers, transcendental numbers, and algebraic numbers. Also, there are infinitely large numbers (of different sizes) called transfinite numbers, and in this arena one meets cardinal numbers and ordinal numbers, and transfinite arithmetic.

Finally, there are abstract systems that have lots of properties like numbers, but are not really numbers (except for prototypical examples) . For example: rings, fields, groups.
