I recently was given leather furniture. But I have cats, with nails. I like that my cats have their nails. I feel it would be cruel or mutilative of me to declove them. Do I want to have my pie and eat it too for searching for a win/win alternative? I got a scratching post and they use it, but they still like to scratch the leather furniture and their nails still get beneath the quilt I placed over the furniture. I would just like to learn a few ideas. Can anyone offer some win/win ideas?
they sell plastic nail protectors that go on the cats front paws and they work and are fairly inexpensive
