Where can I get information about a quilt that was my grandmothers?

his 30 years, I had more when I was born .... tag has the ILGWU tag on it, which I have studied light ... There are a number engraved at the top of the emblem though, I want to find what the number means and if it holds all the information, I would never give up my blanket, but I am curious if it is worth considering that GREA has such a context when it was made, any person having knowledge of that time any info would be great! thanks

ILGWU Union is Garment Workers International Ladies. It is a huge organization and the only thing that the label will tell you is that the quilt was assembled in the United States and represented the union local assemblers. There is probably not much intrinsic value of the quilt, but if it's in decent condition and is reconstituted by hand you can get $ 150 for it a lot of good or antique shop.
