lol, I saw the news articles about this "virginity restoration kit" that Egypt is wanting to ban because they say it will make women more likely to give in to temptation and lose their virginity before marriage, and it made me start thinking about some memoirs I've read written by Muslim women where they talk about the sheets being checked after a marriage is consummated - to make sure there was blood there which would mean that the bride was a virgin. I have two questions:
1. Is the virginity check still done in most or some places? The memoirs I read were all written by women who grew up in the early to mid 1990's, so I was curious to know if this is still done.
2. What would happen if there was no blood? I mean, not all women bleed when they lose their virginity (I didn't). Would they get in trouble and no-one believe them that they really were virgins? What would happen to them?
The Quran tells the Muslims to hate the Jews. Here you have the only religion known to man in which a brother rapes a sister, and then to protect the family honor he murders her.
Or the girl's mother murders the daughter to protect the family's honor.
