I have my eye on a 2007 Suzuki C50 800cc which has an MSRP of $6,799. A dealer in my area (South Jersey) quoted me a price of $5,995 for that same model.
What I want to know is, if the dealer were to eventually lower the price on that bike, would the lowest price most probably be later this month (June) or would it most likely be in July or August? Or in the fall? Thanks for any help you can provide!
Well you have a choice to make. You can buy now and ride this summer, or you can buy this fall when the price will most likely be even lower, and wait to ride until next spring.
If it were me, I would look around for a used bike for this summer which I could buy for a reasonable price. Then I would patiently wait for the right deal during the winter for a new bike.
Doing it this way would allow me to sell off the used bike at the beginning of the next season which would bring me the maximum price for the used bike.
