Good Friends

I have alot of drive but i want people that will talk to me intelligently and have ideas and a mind of there own. I want friends that will be like hey its nice out lets go play some volleyball instead of lets go drink.
Whats a good way to find these people????
The more you become who you want to be, the more you will attract like minded individuals with similar values and interests. Start doing what you are interested in. If it is sports, most towns and cities have leagues that you can join for free that compete with one another and with other cities. Take a class at your community college that interests you just for the intellectual stimulation. Join forums and emergent groups...there are a few online resources for those. Ask people you would not normally hang out with if they would be interested in going on a hike or doing something else. Don't be shy! You might find some really cool friends just by being welcoming and inviting and starting something up!
