Connecting the Camera to the computer using the USB cable is the easiest way to download the pictures. However, this all depends on the age of your Compaq Presario. If it is new enough to be running Windows XP, then you should have no problems. Windows XP automatically recognizes most digital cameras connecting via USB.
If your computer isn't running Windows XP, the consult the camera manuals to see what you need to do to download pictures.
