Posted in cross stitch on 08/01/2011 07:36 pm by adminHow many meters of fabric would i need to make a top?
like size 12 i know 1 metre is 100 cms but would i need two metres to cover both sides and make short sleeves i know it sounds dumb but i rele dont know! 3 metres enough to make a top??
thanks
Consult the back of the pattern envelope. It's going to depend on the design of the pattern and the width of the fabric. A camisole might take as little as 60 cm; something more elaborate might take 3 m.
Normally, I'd say that 3 m of 170 cm wide fabric would make a long sleeved dress shirt for a large man.
