I don't see the point in them putting their logo on the white (currently red) cups, when they usually put the cardboard around it (so you don't burn your hands, if the drink is hot). The cardboard does have the logo on it, so what is the point? And now they have the Christmas design, with "On with the tradition" and a bunch of white little people in a park.
I know this seems weird to even be asking about, but yeah.
At the Starbucks near me, the baristas stopped putting the wrap around the cup, but they have them out at the end counter where you go to get the coffee or latte, w/e it is, and you can take one and put it on, but if you use the drive thru, they put them on for you.
I guess it's just because, if a person took the wrap off, they would want other people near them to see that the drink is from Starbucks.
