I think so! then again, I think animals should be better taken care of worldwide..a dreamer.
I mean, we do invest loads of money in them...the govt instead of investing in dumb things should help clinics out.
its not stupid...it even help the ASPCA..or other groups.
or taxes at least!
Uhhh..in Cat and Dog census, sure!
They live approx..from 8 to 15 years, they procreate in large numbers/change hands/change address/die on a daily basis, etc.etc. it will be Census' worst nightmare to track down pets-and to be honest, its nightmare for them to track down people as well. census exists to know how many public and state facilities population needs. Dogs use privately owned facilities (e.g., elementary school for kids vs. obedience classes for dogs) as they are taken care of entirely by their owners.
Claim dogs on taxes? Other less democratic countries imposed a pet tax FOR having a dog (you pay taxes for your dog, more if the dog is large). previously it was because in some of them state owned most of the property and tenants "rented" from the state....But now people have private property and real estate...but the tax stayed. Why? Just because:-)
Disclosing too much about yourself means allowing more control over yourself. Mentioning your pets on record might create more laws and loopholes in the law to tax pet owners, limit dogs' access to public areas, tighten existing or create new ridiculous rules that will harm pet owners. it's already nearly impossible to own a pet unless you are rich and have your own house and a piece of land, no pets policy is everywhere.
