Cross Stitch Supplies Online

Why would God bless some so heavily while depriving others of necessities?

I'm neither a Christian nor an Atheist, I simply want to hear some answers. Please don't post anything bashing, like something "proving" God doesn't exist.

First of all God is a God of Order and He operates on eternal laws - otherwise He wouldn't be God.
Secondly, "blessings" is a rather nondescript term that we use to refer to good things that come into our lives that we give credit to God for providing in some way usually, right? That could include SO MANY "things" - far too extensive a list to even attempt to put here of course.

But this is what I believe. "...there is a law irrevocably decreed from before the foundations of this world, upon which all blessings are predicated. And when we receive any blessing from God it is based upon that law upon which it is predicated." So, God doesn't just randomly bless people - that would not be orderly, fair or realistic for a perfect God to do.

Much misery in the world certainly can be attributed to the wickedness, greed and selfishness of MEN, governments, poverty they cause and fail to fix and so forth, right? So God doesn't step IN and wave His hands to change wickedness to goodness, evil men&governments because HE expects US to step up, take a stand and bring about such changes because of our own care for our fellowman and our own social conscience and desire to help one another.

He blesses mankind based on us keeping His laws which thus produce his blessings BECAUSE of our righteous choices. Of course blessings DO NOT always come in the form of monetary or physical blessings as we would often HOPE. BUT I believe that CAN happen of course. Usually spiritual blessings are promised to those who SEEK God in the form of peace, spiritual strength, comfort, assurance, endurance, emotional support, and other spiritually significant forms as that.

And NO of course God does NOT condone the wickedness of MEN who cause misery, starvation and death in other people - BUT HE sees the eternal perspective in all things, whereas we usually see things from a very limited and narrow view point.
