I have a mole on my right side beneath my beard. Since its clarified that they will shave m ybeard or i will have to shave my baerd, I was wondering how big the stitches will be when it is removed. The doctor said that they will have to cut out about an inch and stitch it back, so will they put like a realli huge bandage over it which is realli realli noticeable or just stitch it up? I was wondering if it looks bad and how long does it take for the scar to go? plz plz plz your help wud b much appreciated
You MIGHT have 1 or two stitches. They are tiny, and usually exceptionally so when on your face, if they can't just cover this when they are finished with a sterry strip or a band aid. The scar which will probably look like a line will never go away completely but won't be anywhere near as noticable as the mole. My daughter was hit by a car and had her chin break the windshield of the car she had a BIG cut to her chin ( and glass and debris embedded into it) 2 years ago. She had 8 stitches in the deepest part of the wound and sterry strips over the rest, and you can barely notice it any more. That big wound really didn't have much for bandages, and I doubt yours will either.
